The ability to add a menu item is pretty standard when it comes to mobile ordering. The great thing about the Hangry dashboard is that menu items can be added at any time, and will immediately populate on a mobile device. Something to keep in mind is that items can always be edited. Thus, if you need to make a change you can simply edit the item as opposed to deleting and creating a new one. This includes parameters such as name, price, calories, etc.
STEP BY STEP:
- Click Menus on the left toolbar.
- Click Items at the top of the screen.
- Select your desired Restaurant Location and Menu Section.
- Move to the section to the left to add a menu item, and populate all necessary information (Name, Description, Price).
- Click Add New Menu Item.
Once you’ve completed this process, the new menu item will automatically show up on a mobile device. Keep in mind that unless you hide the item in the item visibility section, it will be visible for users on their app. If you’re working on items that are not yet available, ensure they are hidden to avoid any mishaps.
