A bonus promo is a code that can be applied anywhere in the app. This means it’s not dependent on making a mobile order. Entering a bonus promo gives extra points/credit. They can be used as a reward for opening a message, or even for making an in-store purchase. The great thing about a bonus promo is that it doesn’t have to encourage your users to make a mobile order. However, it does typically encourage them to explore your app. Therefore, if you want your users trying new functions you’ve added to your app, or just want to increase app usage in general, then bonus promos are a great way to get users on your app and keep them there.
ADD CHECKOUT PROMO:
- Click Loyalty on the left toolbar.
- Click on Bonus Promo at the top of the screen.
- Head to the middle section, type in your desired Promo Code and click Create.
- To edit the details of your promo, click on your code from the list, move to the section to the right and Update.
Once you’ve created your promo code make sure to notify your users. Examples include: sending a push or inbox notification, updating your campus announcement on the app, putting up posters & signs, and more.
