Do you ever go about your work day, and then stop at 3pm and realize you never took a break for lunch? Working in a corporate environment is nothing less than demanding, and often breakfast or lunch end up taking a backseat on the priority list. With the introduction of office mobile ordering, you’re able to save time, get more work done, make healthier meal choices, and ultimately increase company revenue.
How does the process work?
Hangry provides a company branded app that can be accessed by all employees. This mobile app will include the menus from all office dining locations as well as dietary filtering, nutritional information and of course—mobile ordering. Once the employee has ordered and paid for their meal, they either have the option to go pick up their order (without waiting in line) or have it delivered to their desk. If the employee decides they’d like to pick up their order, the mobile app will inform them of when the order is being made, and when it is ready to be picked up. Once the employee receives a notification that their order is ready, they simply make their way to the dining location, skip the line and pick up their hot meal (or cold, if you’re into that). If the employee chooses to have a meal delivered to their desk, they will be notified every step of the process as well.
Benefits of Mobile Ordering
Although every employee has a unique role in the company, that doesn’t change the fact that everyone eats breakfast and lunch at relatively the same time. Through mobile ordering, you’re able to save precious break time by skipping the line and efficiently adding “have breakfast & lunch” into your busy schedule. Mobile ordering can also be used to order-ahead for a meeting and can even be used for big time catering. In terms of menus; corporate offices often change their meal offerings on a daily or weekly basis, making it confusing to know what’s actually available to you that day. Through Hangry’s app you always have those up-to-date menu changes right at your fingertips. . Through dietary filtering on the menus, employees can filter by food intolerances, allergies, and dietary preferences (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal, etc). In addition, your company branded app can include a loyalty feature which can reward employees for performing actions on the app. These actions could include ordering the same thing two days in a row, adding a large fountain drink, using the re-ordering feature and many more. These points can then be redeemed for prizes in your company rewards store which could include company incentives like gift cards, parking privileges, events, the list goes on.
