Today, we will be going over how to link existing option lists. The menu building process can get very repetitive, especially when every item comes with the same options for drink, sides etc. That is why Hangry has created a feature that allows you to link existing option lists to new items. What do we mean by this? Well, let’s say you’ve added a turkey club to the Subway menu, and you’ve created 3 different option lists for bread, toppings, and sauces. When it comes time to add the ham & swiss Subway item, the last thing you’ll want to do is add the bread, topping, and sauce options all over again. With this feature, you can simply link the option lists you’ve already created making the menu building process easier and faster.
STEP BY STEP:
- Click Menus on the left toolbar.
- Click Options at the top of the screen.
- Select your desired Restaurant Location and Menu Item.
- In the far left section, go down to Link Existing Option List and click the option list you’d like to add to that item.
- Click Link [Option List Name] to [Item Name]
Once this is completed, your option list will automatically show up on a mobile device. If you’d like to see all the modifiers available in that option list, simply click modifiers at the top of the screen. Once here, the menu section, item, and option list should already be pre-loaded and you can view all modifiers available under that list.
