The following list is some of Hangry’s favorite Loyalty and Rewards programs in the mobile app world right now.
We love mobile ordering here at Hangry, and Samsung has created a rewards program based on mobile payment—so we love that too. It would seem, that Samsung looked into the future just like we did, and recognized the important of mobile ordering. Essentially, Samsung Rewards will reward it’s customers every time they use the Samsung Pay app. This rewards-based system includes welcome points, customer tiers, and tons of amazing rewards. However, the reason why we like this particular program is because Samsung was one of the first to attached a rewards system to their mobile payment platform.
My Starbucks Rewards
The ultimate rewards system for coffee and tea lovers out there. Remember when you used to go into a coffee shop, and the cashier would stamp your card every time you ordered a large coffee? Welll, MyStarbucks Rewards is kind of like that—except far more refined. By downloading the app, you instantly start earning ‘1 star’ per purchase. The mobile app also has a tier system that goes from regular, to green to gold. Once you earn 5 stars you will receive “Green” status, meaning you’ll begin to receive free refills: 5 stars = free refills. If you accumulate 30 stars in 12 months you gain “Gold” status, granting one free drink for every additional 12 stars and you will then begin to receive exclusive offers. After 30 stars, every 12 stars = 1 free drink or food item.
A gamified loyalty experience is always a good one. By doing what you love to do (play games), My Nintendo has set up a loyalty program where you can complete missions to earn digital games and in-app exclusives. This is the perfect way to award customers for doing what they love. The best part of this loyalty program is that is acknowledges that not everyone likes to play the same way. Therefore, points can be earned by completely multiple different tasks. They can range anywhere from games, interactions, or purchase and be both easy and extremely challenging.
Like many store loyalty programs, Loyallist allows you to earn tons of points on every dollar you spend. This can include on-line or in-store. However, we like to particular program because of its simplicity. You earn points every time you shop, and then use those points to save money. The breakdown is fairly straight-forward: For every 5,000 points you earn, you get a $25 gift card. You receive double the points on make-up and fragrances and if you end up spending more than $3,500 in one year at Bloomingdale’s you’ll automatically achieve ‘Top of the List’ status, allowing you to earn four points per dollar and free shipping with no minimum purchase.
With this loyalty program, users will receive two-day shipping on countless products offered on amazon (with no minimum purchase). This seems pretty straight forward, but the reason why we love this loyalty program is because it really is, all about the customers. In fact, Amazon actually LOSES up to $2 billion per year from Prime. However, the money is made up due to increased transaction frequency.
