We’ve said it time and time again; mobile ordering is all about flexibility. But that doesn’t just apply to picking up food. Your users want flexibility when it comes to every aspect of your mobile app– even payment. Today we’re going to be discussing the flexibility of the Hangry dashboard when it comes to payment options and information.
Controlling Allowed Payment Types
There are so many different scenarios when it comes to payment types. For example, a school campus might have certain cafeterias that only accept meal plan card and nothing else. From the Hangry dashboard, you are able to control allowed payment methods. What this is means, is that you are able to allow or disallow meal plan and credit card payments for each of your dining locations. In the example stated above, you would be able to go into the dashboard and disallow credit cards so the only method of payment is a meal plan card for that specific cafeteria.
Campus Card or Tender Discounts
Often times, meal plan cards will offer discount rates as a perk of purchasing. With Hangry’s dashboard you can add or update the discount rate for your campus meal plan or tenders. This will ensure your mobile users are receiving the discount provided by the meal plan/ tender when making a purchase on your mobile app.
Configure a Service Fee [Optional]
It’s important to note that Hangry does not recommend adding a service fee to your mobile orders. Having said that, the feature is available on the dashboard if needed. This will allow you to add a small service or convenience fee to each mobile order and this can be changed and updated at any time from the Hangry dashboard.
Access Accounting Information
The accounting section will provide you will all the information you need on every single order that goes through the system. In this section you will find a breakdown of transactions, payment information, service fees, tax and more. With this information, you can make informed decisions based on which restaurants are most successful, which have the most transactions, what days are bringing you the most revenue and the list goes on.
