The ability to rearrange menu items and options allows you to recreate the in-person mobile ordering experience on a mobile device. For example, when you go to order at Subway, the sandwich artist will always ask you what kind of bread you like and what size. With the rearrange feature, you can ensure all steps mimic the in-person process. Rearranging also allows you to put more popular or expensive options on the top, and less popular or expensive items on the bottom.
STEP BY STEP:
- Click Menus on the left toolbar.
- Click Rearrange at the top of the screen.
- Select your desired Restaurant Location, Menu Section, Menu Steps, or Options.
- Once you select a section, a list of items will appear. From here, simply Drag and Drop the order you’d like to create.
Once you’ve completed this process, your rearranged list will automatically update on a mobile device. When rearranging menu sections, always ensure the final result makes sense. For example, a user can’t choose a meat option until they’ve chosen a type of bread.
