One of the most common support questions you’ll ever receive is, ‘I forgot my password, can you help me?’ That is why we’ve made the process to reset a user’s password from the dashboard quick and easy. The ability to reset a user’s password is actually available in several ways. User’s have the option to do so from their mobile device, with the home screen offering one method to reset. Should they select the option from the home screen, they will be prompted to enter the registered email address. From there, a reset password email would be sent to the user. They can also contact support from the home screen, in case they’re not able to reset on their own. That’s where the support message above is related.
As for the dashboard, it’s a simple process for a dashboard admin to complete. To reset a user’s password, the staff member will have to have access to the users tab, or be an administrator with full access.
STEP BY STEP:
- Click Users on the left toolbar.
- Click Profile Update at the top of the screen.
- Select your Desired User Profile.
- Move to the section to the right, scroll down the bottom and click Reset User’s Password.
Once you click OK, the user will automatically receive an email outlining the process on how to reset their password.
