How To: Return a Mobile Order Back to the Queue [Merchant Tablet]

During busy dining hours there are going to be some rare occasions where the kitchen either makes a mistake preparing an order, or someone marks an order as complete when it isn’t. In this case, the merchant tablet has a feature that allows you to return a mobile order back to queue. The user will not be sent a push notification, but their home screen will return to the timer countdown. This is just one of the features that can be accessed on the merchant tablet. Although the majority of features to control the mobile app are done on the backend dashboard, there are also quite a few on the merchant tablet. As a result, front line staff are able to better serve customers.


  1. From the Merchant Tablet home screen, click History.
  2. From the History tab, select your desired order.
  3. Click Return to Queue.

Once you click Return to Queue, the status of that mobile order going to go from complete back to received and the pickup time will update as well.
