How To: Update & Delete Contests

Contests can be updated or deleted at anytime. However, when completing either of these processes, we strongly suggest to take a look at how many users have entered and at what parameters. For example, deleting a contest when users have already used points to enter in will cause a huge problem. In addition, if you update a contest when users have already entered (i.e. switching the ‘points per entry’ from 300 to 200) the users who entered in at 300 are not going to be happy. Therefore, we always suggest you proceed with caution when deleting or updating a contest.


UPDATE:

  1. Click Loyalty on the left toolbar.
  2. Click on the contest you’d like to Update.
  3. Move to the section to the right and scroll down until you see Edit Contest.
  4. Make any updates to your contest (i.e. name, description, image, etc.) and then click Update Contest.

DELETE:

  1. Click Loyalty on the left toolbar.
  2. Click on the contest you’d like to Delete.
  3. Move to the section to the right and scroll down until you see Delete Contest.
  4. Click Delete Contest, and then click OK.

Once you’ve clicked OK, that contest will automatically be updated or deleted on a user’s mobile device.
