The sun and warmth have officially come out of hibernation and their ready to light up the world!
So what better way to celebrate good ole’ May, by talking about our favourite subject…
The inspiration for this blog came from one of our favorite little Hangry locations—Laurier Union Market.
In the past, Campus Dining Services has had a reputation of being a little dense.
Burgers, French fries, Pizza, Sodas… they always seemed to be the campus norm.
But these days, it’s campus dining locations like Union Market’s Healthy Kitchen that bring a whole new light to healthy eating on campus.
Union Market features all the freshest vegetables and proteins and they’re always in line with what’s in season. Items like grilled Cajun chicken, egg plant curry, and white beans and kale are giving students a taste of home on a daily basis.
So in honor of May and healthy eating on campus, here’s a list of what’s in season this month!
