The order history window of the merchant tablet is going to allow you view all the orders being made through your app. Once in that window, you can view previous orders, perform refunds, return orders to the queue, and more. Through the order history tab, front line staff are able to manage some of the mobile ordering system. Although certain actions are password protected, others are great ways for the kitchen staff to engage with users and be accountable for the success of your platform. As a result, with some autonomy, your staff are likely to have a greater sense of responsibility when it comes to the app. Most of the actions in the order history window are also only available on the tablet. Consequently, it elevates front line staff from the sidelines to taking an active part in fostering positive results.
VIEW ORDER HISTORY:
- Click History at the top of the screen.
- To perform an action on one of the orders, simply click on it and then go from there. This can include refunding, returning the order to the queue, and more.
