Manually Control Restaurant Status

During dining hours, your kitchen staff will always have access to manually control restaurant status from their tablet. This is one of several features that requires a manager password. We’ve made the manager password mandatory in this case as a manual turn off will impact operations. Since the operations are impacted, managers are best left responsible to ensure it’s a necessary action.  As a result, it’s less likely that the tablet will be turned off unless absolutely imperative.

However, incase of emergency it’s important to have access to this feature from your desk. We’ve made it possible to manually control restaurant status from both the tablet, and the dashboard.

STEP BY STEP:

  1. Click Operations on the left toolbar.
  2. Click Restaurant Modes at the top of the screen.
  3. Select your desired Restaurant Location.
  4. Move to the middle section and click, Manual Turn Off.

To turn the restaurant back on, simply click the button again.
